Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ winner, Ijeoma Otabor, better known as Phyna, has publicly dropped her family’s surname.
The reality star, in a tweet, announced that she is publicly dropping her family’s surname Otabor. According to her, it has been proven that she has no family and nobody knows how she came about. Phyna made it known that she is still searching for answers, though, and it has been rough with her lately.
The reality star and actress said she is in a place where she can’t describe how she feels or what to call what she is going through. She noted how she was being tossed around while growing up, but she was too young to suspect anything.

Recall that last year, Phyna’s father granted an interview with a media outlet, narrating his ordeal with his daughter, who he claimed had abandoned him after winning the show. He revealed that Phyna had made promises to him, which she failed to fulfill, and hasn’t set eyes on her since winning the show.
Reacting to it, the reality star had called out the media outlet, for tormenting her with texts and calls as she narrated her ordeal with one of its reporters. Phyna revealed that in the history of dragging, this is the first time, she has cried and it touched her. She also gave up her body to her family to eat whenever she died.
Weighing into her beef with her family, comedian, DeeOne had offered the reality star’s father N500k. In want seems like a shade at the reality star, he admonished her to stop living a fake life.
