‘Please unfollow me if you don’t like my support for Tinubu as next President’ – Gbenga Adeyinka

Veteran Nigerian comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka the 1st has threatened to report the accounts of any of his followers who curse him out for supporting Bola Ahmed Tinubu as his Presidential Candidate.

The popular Comedian via his Instagram page advised that everyone is free to pick his or her ahead of the 2023 presidential election but he would not be bullied into changing his preferred candidate.

“It is not a crime for you to have a choice just as it isn’t for me to have a choice? People are just incredible. You go to people’s pages to bully them over their choices when you have taken a hand on yours? We don’t have to agree on who to support. I have a right to choice like you have too. Please unfollow me if my choice is not Okay with you,” he wrote.

Gbenga Adeyinka added, ” Dear follower. This is for you. I’m so tired of people coming to my page to curse me out over my choices.
Going forward I WILL BE REPORTING YOUR PAGE TO IG FOR HARASSMENT.
Choose to support anybody you want in the coming elections and leave me to my choice.
Please note, I don’t have to follow you and you don’t have to follow me. I appreciate your follow but you have no right TO BULLY ME COS I DONT SUPPORT WHO YOU ARE SUPPORTING.”

This is coming after The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, emerged as the winner of the party’s presidential primary yesterday, June 8.

Recall that Tinubu had obtained over 1,271 votes to defeat his closest rivals, ex-minister Rotimi Amaechi and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

He contested against thirteen other aspirants – Mr Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, Pastor Tunde Bakare, Mr Ahmed Rufai, Senator Rochas Okorocha, Mr Jack Rich, Governor Ben Ayade, Governor David Umahi, Senator Ahmed Yarima, Dr Ahmed Lawan, Osinbajo, Amaechi, Governor Yahaya Bello and Mr Ogbonnaya Onu.

Nine aspirants had earlier stepped down, eight of whom asked their supporters to vote for Tinubu, while one asked his supporters to vote for Osinbajo.

Those who stepped down before voting began are Governor Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa, Robert Boroffice, Ken Nnamani, Ibikunle Amosun, Dimeji Bankole, Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi and Godswill Akpabio.
