As the world mourns Ifeanyi Adeleke’s death, the police command has confirmed picking up Davido’s staff for questioning. The police command have began investigation on his death.
Kemi Filani news reported earlier that the singer had arrested his workers.
Confirming the report as true, the Police Command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin spoke with Daily Post on Tuesday morning, on his death.
The Lagos PPRO said preliminary investigation is currently ongoing to unravel what led to the boy’s death. He revealed that Davido’s domestic staff have been picked for questioning.
He said, “Domestic staff at Davido’s home have been taken to the station to give their own account of what happened. I wouldn’t call that arrest yet.
If after they all give their own account of what happened and after preliminary investigations, of anyone of them is found culpable, the person will now be placed under arrest”.
Police picks up Davido’s staff
It is a sad time for music star, Davido and his girlfriend, Chioma as they mourn the death of their son.
Kemi Filani news reported earlier that the singer’s first son passed away on Monday, October 31st.
A distraught Davido had been removed from Evercare Hospital, where his son was pronounced dead. The singer is currently at his father’s house.
KFN learnt that Davido had arrested some of the people at his Banana Island house, when the incident happened.
According to a source, “About nine people have been arrested for negligence, including his nanny and their cook. Chioma is broken. David is in tears.
They are both at his dad’s house in Lekki and nobody from 30BG is allowed there. His 30th birthday plans have been put on hold.
The real story is creepy. How the kid opened a huge thick door and got outside, nobody knows. The arrested peppy are criminally negligent”.
Davido loses son
KFN broke the sad news that Davido and his fiancée Chioma had lost their child, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Ifeanyi Adeleke died on Monday, October 31.
According to information, Ifeanyi got drowned a few days after his third birthday which was on October 20.
“The boy was inside water for too long and they pulled him out and rushed him to the hospital,” the family source said under anonymity.
He was rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
It was further gathered his parents, Davido and Chioma had traveled for a family gathering to Ibadan yesterday. They left Ifeanyi with his minders who can’t explain how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned.
Prior to Ifeanyi’s death, Davido earlier in the day was spotted teaching him how to swim.
