Nigerian street singer, Habeeb Okikiola better known as Portable has thrown shade at his ex-signee, Manny Monnie as he buys a brand new car for his new artiste, Young Duu.
Taking to his Instagram page, Portable shared a video of him presenting the new whip to his signee.
Accompanying the video was a caption, which many believed is a shade at his ex-signee, Manny Monnie.
Portable stated that it’s only a calm and loyal employee that would enjoy the love of his boss.
“Congratulations to you @official_young_duu Zeh nation person way calm and loyal go enjoy”.
Portable publicly assaults his signee, Manny Monnie
Last year, Portable shared a disturbing video of him assaulting his signee, Manny Monnie.
In the video he shared on Instagram, Portable accused Manny Monnie of being ungrateful, as he disclosed that the signee tried to double-cross him by employing two music distributors without his knowledge.
Portable, who claimed he promoted and sponsored the signee, also accused him of being a sc@mmer.
Recall that the singer had on Thursday evening, November 17, claimed that he fired his entire studio staff after they generated only N7k in a month.
In a part of the video, Portable was captured hitting the signee who was sitting on the floor.
Explaining his side of what transpired, Manny Monnie said he didn’t do anything to the singer.
He further explained that Portable seized his phone to prevent him from letting the world know the truth.
Manny Monnie behind Portable’s attempted arrest
Things escalated between the two as Manny Monnie ordered his arrest.
Portable had cried out in fear on social media after some Men of the Nigerian Police Force from Ogun State stormed his bar to arrest him.
Speaking on the arrest, Manny Monie took revealed that he was behind Portable’s woes with the police.
Debunking the allegation of being a Yahoo boy, Manny Monnie said he was not a fraudster and went on to reveal that the police came after his former boss after several failed attempts to peacefully invite him over to the station when he filed a petition against him for threatening his life and instigating violence against.
