Nigerian street-pop singer Portable is clearly unbothered by actress Laide Bakare’s stern warning.
Kemi Filani reported that Portable had posted a video claiming Laide invited him to perform at her event, but she didn’t have money to pay him.
Laide had hit back by issuing him a stern warning to avoid mentioning her name and stay clear of her business. She clarified that she has nothing to do with whatever issue he is involved in, and that it would be in his best interest to avoid mentioning her name and her family.
Ignoring her warning, Portable has boldly expressed his desire to sleep with the actress in a new video, claiming he knew she was no longer married.
He reminded her that she started the beef by referring to Nigerians, who went to Libya as “prostitutés”. He said that if Laide hadn’t made such comments, he wouldn’t have dragged her.
Showing his lack of respect for her, he initially referred to Bakare as “Aunty Laide” but later dropped the title, questioning why he was still showing her respect. He then referred to her by name and made claims about her inability to slap him.
The controversial singer also accused Laide of inviting him to a show without paying him, mocking her for calling herself a celebrity while allegedly unable to cover basic costs. He further mocked her for not being from wealthy, which is the major reason why he couldn’t stop calling her out.
Last year, Portable had blasted Laide after she called him a dirty boy from Sango in an interview. He made it known that he is rich enough to buy and marry her, and exposed the mother of three for making advances towards him in his DM, yet publicly demeaning him.
Sharing screenshots of his chats with her, he pointed out the irony at which she approached him to do business with him. Taking things further, Portable laid a curse on her and her mother.
Before that, during his drama with his baby mama, Ashabi, Portable had slammed Laide for her interview, where she advised married women to retaliate if their husband cheated on them. He warned her never to mingle with Ashabi as he noted how people like her destroy homes.
