“He should have covered me up at the police station. He is a bad father” – Portable mercilessly drags his father

Portable drags father

Controversial Nigerian singer Portable is never short of drama as he has switched attention to his father.

Taking to his Instagram page, he accused his father of ripping him and abandoning him in his time of trouble. According to the street singer, his father was the one who gave him money to help him with his house projects, but he didn’t settle with the police, hence why he is in a mess.

Portable questioned why his father couldn’t go to the police station to cover him. Calling him a bad father, he noted how he is always giving him money, yet he ripped him.

“But why my papa no go police station to cover me, he is a bad father. Na him I dey give money to do all those houses, na him chop my money. If too say him don’t settle with them I no go get problem with this people.

Why my papa go dey run for police? House wey be say na you I dey give money make you run am. All those houses belong to me Badmus Family”.

Kemi Filani reported a week back that Portable had cried out as the government sealed his uncompleted building and hotel over illegal development without an approval permit and detained some of his customers and workers. He called on the government to look into it as he pointed out the irony at which he has been helping the government put lights on the streets and repair roads, yet they are shutting down his property.

In a follow-up post, he said he had to protect his families and properties first as he canceled his show in London. Portable noted how if there was life, he would have the opportunity to perform in many countries.

During the weekend, Portable lamented over the maltreatment he is receiving in his state, Ogun State. The singer noted how he has done so much for his state, yet nobody appreciates him or values him.
