Singer Portable raises eyebrows after penning a birthday message to his baby mama

Nigerian singer Portable penned down a message on Instagram, wishing his baby mama Ashabi a happy birthday. In the message, he said;

Happy birthday to you my queen may GOD bless your new age @ashabi_simple Na Money Dey Make Woman Fine No Be Say Love you my Celebrity Queen Mother Of One Mummy ATANDA FITILAMI.

Ashabi is one of Portable’s baby mamas, and she has a child with him. Even though they’re not married, Ashabi has constantly and openly showed her support for Portable. His public birthday message to her does not come as a surprise, because both parties seem to be in good terms with each other. 

Even though Portable’s message to his baby mama was predominantly sweet and thoughtful, it still raised a lot of eyebrows, because of one sentence in the message. It read: “Na money de make woman fine no be say I love you”. Some netizens questioned his message in the comment section, as they expressed that they did not understand his message. Here are some of the comments;

While netizens questioned Portable’s message to his baby mama, the celebrant in question thanked him and expressed her gratitude for his post. 

Portable’s post may have been a typographical error, but the celebrant was able to get the message he was trying to pass across.
