Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has reacted to a viral photo of his senior colleague, Tiwa Savage in her underwear.
Kemi Filani reported last week that Tiwa, in an interview with Beat FM while speaking on the Big 3 conversation, said if people are to go talent for talent and mic for mic, she is the big one. Following her interview, Tiwa shared racy photos of herself in pants and a top as she doubled down on her statement. See the racy photos here.
In a TikTok live, Portable had admonished those close to Tiwa Savage to warn her to stop wearing panties alone to snap pictures. He stated that it is only young boys that get attracted to her, as he noted how she is over 40. Portable stated that he has been listening to her songs since he was little, and she is tempting him too, but he is trying to take his eyes off.
“Everyone should please warn Tiwa Savage to stop wearing panties alone while snapping pictures if not, it’s only young boys that will be asking her out. She is over 40 years and I have been listening to her songs since I was little. She is tempting me too but I am trying to take my eyes off”.
Portable isn’t the only one who spoke out on the viral photo. Actor, Uche Maduagwu slammed her as he noted how she is a mother of one. Calling the photoshoot distasteful and wrong, he questioned if this was fashion. Uche further questioned what moral message Tiwa was passing to Nigerian youths as he pondered on whether she was supposed to be doing this at the age of 44.
Portable’s statement to Tiwa is coming as a surprise as months back, Portable, had declared Tiwa Savage as his mother. He shared a video of him and the Afrobeat singer in London, as he hailed the songstress, calling her the Ogbanje of Africa. He went on to crown her the number one of Africa and expressed excitement at seeing her.
Recall that in February, 2023, Portable had hailed Tiwa Savage for showing him love. Sharing his private chat with the singer, he hailed her as the Mama Ika of Africa and appreciated her for her love and support.
In December, Portable ran into the award-winning singer at the British Fashion Awards, held in the UK, London. The controversial singer was captured hailing and hugging the mum of one, who he called his godmother and went on to rain prayers on her.
