Nollywood actress and one of the babymamas of controversial singer Portable, Ashabi Simple has spoken out, hours after the singer dragged her out.
It is no longer news that the controversial singer was arrested twice last week; for unpaid debt and for assaulting a police officer.
Following his release, Portable had taken to social media to drag Ashabi for not sticking by him during his tough time. He noted how she said in an interview that she can’t do without Portable and would cry, if he doesn’t kiss her, yet sue didn’t visit him at the station.
He claimed that the mother of one was busy on movie set, ignoring him; yet would publicly shower him with praises and profess love for him.
In what seems like a response to his latest tantrum, Ashabi told her followed to avoid people who don’t have anything to lose. She stated that such people don’t care about other’s goals.
“Avoid people that don’t have what to lose, they don’t care about other’s goals”.
Refreshing your memory, on Tuesday last week, the Lagos State Police Command arrested the singer for refusing to pay the debt he incurred when he purchased G-Wagon from a car dealer in the state.
Speaking out, Portable stated that God is bigger than everything and stressed that God is over everything. The singer had later released a song, Spider-Man, giving details about his arrest.
Recall that Portable and Ashabi had a public spat in January after Ashabi granted an interview giving an insight into their love life, revealing that despite the singer being married and having multiple women, she still feels like he is married to her alone.
Her interview left Portable enraged as he slammed her, reminding her that she was just a side chick, and noting how he has a wife at home and she had fired back, noting how understanding is a gift everyone doesn’t have.
The lovebirds had for a short while settled their differences as Portable reposted a TikTok video of Ashabi, declaring her his wife and queen. Unfortunately, their reconciliation didn’t last long as Portable slammed her for trying to ruin his marriage as well as using him to promote her movie.
Surprisingly, on Valentine’s Day, Ashabi reaffirmed her love for Portable, as she publicly expressed that she was not ready to give up on Portable.
