A video that made waves online had captured Regina Daniels kneeling to apologize to Chinwere Wilfred for coming late to shoot her scene. When the video first circulated there were no specific reasons attached to the actress’ lateness until when she shared the same post on her page.
Sharing the video on Instagram, Regina Daniels narrated the event that led to her lateness to set. She deeply apologized for her for making her wait without filming because she returned late from an invitation she had to honour.
She appreciated the actress for her continuous support, understanding and patience and for charging her less than her colleagues.
“My lovely mama @chinyerewilfred4real was so angry for keeping her all day on set with nothing to film in my absence. Because I had an invitation I needed to honor.I returned late, went straight to location to plead with my mama and as always her motherly affection towards me conquered her anger. We continued filming till 2:30am. Ha ! I was so tired but didn’t want to be the first to complain o but mhennn “body no be firewood”.Thank you Mama for your continuous understanding and patience. Mummy even charged less than half of her actual fee which is something people rarely do for me oooo. I appreciate you always mummy.
