Queen Ashley Afolashade Ogunwusi, one of the wives of the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has clocked a new age today.
On the photo-sharing app Instagram, Queen Ashley shared a beautiful video of herself sitting pretty as one of the Queens of the Ife monarch.
The proud mother of a crown prince counted her blessings in thanksgiving to God. She is grateful for the new year, good health, wealth and endless happiness. The mother of one is also thankful to her husband, the Ooni and her baby boy, the crown prince.
Queen Ashley wished her new year to be filled with peace, joy, abundance, grace, and thanksgiving.

In September 2024, Queen Ashley and Ooni of Ife welcomed their first child, a baby boy. The Queen noted how the enemies tried in her relationship with the monarch, but God made them victorious. She revealed that last year was a little dark for them as they lost twins, but God remained faithful.
In October 2023, Ooni of Ife married Princess Ashley as his fourth wife. This was a dream come true for Princess Ashley, who had been the monarch’s long-time concubine. The royal wedding was held in Ile Ife, with many dignitaries in attendance.
