Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eyes housemate, Queen Mercy Atang has finally stepped into the 30th floor.
The mother of one, who is marking her first birthday as a wife to a King, took to her Instagram page to throw shade at her colleagues who are fond of reducing their age.
In a clip she posted on her Instagram page, Queen was seen with a piece of cake that read 25, until a man in the background changed it to 30. In her caption, Queen stated that she was celebrating a milestone.
“Let celebrate a milestone.
Happy 30th birthday to me”.
In another post, she stated that it has been 30 years of enjoying God’s unwavering love, mercy and grace.
“This is 30 years of enjoying God’s unwavering love, mercy and grace”.
As expected, many flooded her comment section with good wishes.

A few days back, actress and filmmaker Wumi Toriola had stirred the internet with debate over her real age. The mother of one rocked her page with beautiful photos and dramatically announced that she will be clocking 40 in July.
She claimed that the anticipation of her ‘imaginary’ 40th birthday had made her lost control over her eating habits. Toriola, however, hinted that her post was just a joke when she mentioned how her school mates would be wondering how she clocked 40 all of a sudden.
In May, Uche Ogbodo had a face-off with a troll over her age. A troll, had reminded the movie star that kids born in 1986 were the ones turning 38 years this year. The troll stated that the actress was already a full grown woman when she started acting movies then, and hoped the movie star was honest about her age to her boyfriend. Her statement didn’t sit well with Uche, who lashed out at her.
In February, while celebrating her 35th birthday, Nkechi Blessing lashed out at those accusing her of reducing her age. She stated that they could keep choking on her age as she shamed them for being stagnant.
Big Brother Naija winner, Mercy Eke came under fire after her real age was exposed last year. An unbothered Mercy sarcastically addressed it, and in an exchange with a troll, she revealed her real age.
Her sister, Sweery Eke, took to her defense, as she shared a screenshot of Mercy’s birth certificate, noting how in 2050 people would still be talking about her sister’s success and age. Sweery added that the only thing they have against her sister is because of the level of access she has at 30 as she went on to list Mercy Eke’s accomplishments.
Similarly, Actress, Caroline Danjuma was mercilessly dragged online last year after she claimed she was turning 35, which left many in disbelief.
Reacting to it, Caroline slammed her trolls, calling them unintelligent. She also shared photos of her mother who she stated was in her 50s, as she questioned how she could be in her 40s and to those asking for her certificates, she questioned if they had ever demanded the certificate of their parents before believing their age.
