Today, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, marks his 83rd birthday amidst love and cheers from his loved ones.
The monarch, who is considered the oldest reigning king in Nigeria, was showered with love by his numerous wives, including Queen Omoh.
She wrote: Happy birthday, my demigod and centurion My superhero. My Super handsome husband, with whom I’m well pleased .
It is not surprising that the Alaafin’s estranged queen, Queen Badirat Ola and Queen Anu did not celebrate the king on his 83rd birthday.
The exit of the two queens who had been the king’s favourites while still in the palace remains shocking to many.
Queen Ola and Anu have been doing fine since their exit from the Alaafin of Oyo’s palace.
