Queen Badirat Ola, one of the estranged wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi is currently celebrating her late father.
Kemi Filani news reported that Queen Ola had expressed how heartbroken she was as she mourned the death of her father, the Alapinni of Oyo land, High Chief Abdul-Rasheed Shehu.
The Alapinni of Oyo land, High Chief Abdul-Rasheed Shehu, died after a protracted illness in the early hours of Sunday, September 17.
Queen Ola, via her verified Instagram page, mourned the late Alapinni, expressing how sad she was about his demise. The vibrant queen claimed she was speechless regarding his death but prayed God would accept his return.
She wrote: Inna lilahi waina ilehi rojiun.

Today, September 26th marks the eight day of his death.
Sticking to their tradition, the queen’s family held a Fidau prayer for the deceased.
Taking to Instagram, Queen Ola shared a video of her getting glammed up for the event.
She wrote, “How I stepped out for my father’s 8days Fidau”.
