Ahead of her birthday on June 4th, Queen Tobi Phillips has made a special request to the public.
The wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, pleaded with her fans to follow her YouTube channel where she promises to show the side of her that speaks on life.
She noted how her love for speaking has taken her top-notch and has made her explore life.
“Family members, it’s my birthday in 2 days and I have 1 request as a birthday gift.

If you’ve been following me for a while now, you will know that I have a thing for speaking.
So now, we are taking it up a notch, cos what is life without exploring various aspects of your abilities”.
This would be Queen Tobi Phillips’ first birthday as the wife of the Yoruba monarch.
Ooni of Ife officially weds his third wife
Kemi Filani reported in October that Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi held the first phase of his wedding to Tobi Phillips.
The monarch’s third wife was seen in traditional white attire as she received blessings from her family.
Though the Ooni wasn’t in sight, the King sent his guards, chief, and royal staff.
Their wedding came almost four years after it was reported that the Ooni was set to marry Tobi after his divorce from Olori Wuraola Zainab Otiti.
According to sources close to Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the King was in a very serious relationship with Tobi Phillips, who he started dating following his separation. However the two couldn’t get married at that time, and he wedded Olori Naomi.
Fortunately, luck smiled on her once more, and she got wedded to the love of her life.
Queen Tobi Phillips reveals how she met the Ooni
Speaking up on how she met the Ooni in an interview with TVC ‘Your View’, Olori Tobi Phillips, revealed that she was first devastated when she couldn’t get married to the Ooni because of some interference.
According to her, a mutual friend had introduced her to the monarch, and their chemistry kicked off. However, the two couldn’t get married at that time because of many interferences, which was quite devastating.
In what seems like a message to those who believe she is with the monarch for money, Olori Tobi stated that she told herself she was going to marry for love.
She always promised herself that she will marry for love, hence, why she accepted to be the King’s third wife.
Olori Tobi added that she saw some values in the monarch, which she has always wanted her future husband to have.
