Nollywood actress Queeneth Hilbert isn’t done airing her ordeal with senior colleague Mercy Johnson.
Taking to her Instagram page, she questioned why her fans and followers hadn’t noticed that she hadn’t done any movie with Mercy apart from Sins of the Past, produced by Magic Movies.
She claimed that Johnson removed her from posters and Angela Okorie always supported whatever she did then. She added that there was a time Chacha Eke went to beg on her behalf, and I wept that day for her.
“Have you guys ever asked yourself why I’ve never worked with Mercy apart from the movie Sins of the Past produced by Magic Movies? She even removed me from posters, and Angela always supported whatever she did then. Or is it when my sister Cha went to beg her? I wept for her, I swear, that day”.
On Friday, Angela had stated that it was time up for Mercy Johnson as she accused her mother of being a witch. She claimed the actress’ mother was fond of tying people’s destinies, and now she is dead, Angela questioned what would become of those whose destinies her mother tied up.
Ifeoma, who is allegedly the former best friend of Mercy Johnson, had also called her out for witchcraft and alleged that her late mother was the mastermind. The lady claimed Mercy was aware of the deaths happening in Nollywood and locked the destinies of the famous music group Style Plus and her colleagues.
Reacting to the beef, Queeneth Hilbert had recounted how Mercy decasted her on the set of a movie project because she was close to Angela and had also decasted her on Uche Nancy’s production.
She disclosed that producer Chinedu Arinze was the one who helped her through it as he went to beg Angela Okorie on her behalf. She expressed gratitude to her creator for fighting for her.
Queeneth Hilbert isn’t the only actress who has spoken out on Mercy Johnson’s poor treatment of her junior colleagues.
Years back, Sonia Ogiri had revisited her feud with her Mercy Johnson. She said Mercy had hated her for no reason and even shoved the fact that she hated her to her face.
Sonia said people had misjudged and called her a jealous person despite how it almost destroyed her life after calling Mercy out, stating that a snake will always be a snake. Speaking further, she said the narrative changed as God opened everyone’s eyes to see the truth.
Amid the drama, Mercy Johnson has stayed silent and focused on her family. On Saturday, she took to Instagram to celebrate her last born, Divine’s birthday and stated that her family is all that matters.
Her husband, Prince Odi Okojie, has defended her as he urged the public to check on their loved ones as he noted how mental health is real. The politician stated that there are mad people everywhere.
Recall that filmmaker Sam Olatunji had also defended Mercy as he pondered on how Angela came to the conclusion that Mercy Johnson’s mother was a witch if she wasn’t one herself. He admonished her fans to check up on her as he believed she was having a mental breakdown
