Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Asake has appreciated his senior colleague, Davido for his constant love and support.
The ‘Lonely At The Top’s crooner, via his Instagram story, revealed that Davido has always been checking up on him. He stated that this is the reason why he remains OBO.

A year back, Davido revealed how he was able to meet with Asaka to collaborate on his album, Timeless.
During a podcast, Davido revealed how his brother, Olamide Baddo, linked him up with Asake, as he rang praises on Olamide and spoke on the connection they shared and how he responded to his messages without stressing him.
The father of five also declared love for Asake, and that prompted him to feature the fast-rising singer on his album.
Since his rise to fame, Asake has been shutting down the globe with his eccentric performances.
Last year, the singer shut down the 002 Arena, London as he gave a stellar and unforgettable performance.
His rise to fame was courtesy of Olamide, who jumped on one of his songs and made him a signee under the YBNL record label.
Speaking on Olamide’s impact on him, Asake revealed how one phone call from Olamide changed his career. Since then, the singer’s career has continued to skyrocket.
Last year, the singer alongside Ayra Starr, Davido, and Burna Boy, were nominated for Grammy Awards, unfortunately, they all lost their nominations.
At the 16th edition of Headies Awards in 2023, he became the first Artist to win the Next Rated and Album of the Year on the same night. To add to it, he joined Simi, Asa, and Kizz Daniel who have won the Headies Album of the Year with their debut albums.
