Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her mother, Rita Daniels have donated money to the Celestial Church of Christ, Abuja.
Kemi Filani reported on Sunday that Rita Daniels had stirred reactions as they attended the 40th harvest anniversary celebration of the famous church in Abuja. Her mother, via her Instagram page, shared a video of her and Regina in the car as they headed for church service.
Also, taking to her Instagram page, Regina shares photos and videos of their beautiful moments in the church. In one of the clips, the actress, while giving a speech, had donated N2 million to the church, and her mother has also donated N500k.
Many flooded Regina’s page, questioning if she had switched to Celestial churches.

Regina wouldn’t be the only actress who has donated millions to a Celestial church.
Back in June, Funke Akindele had spent over two million naira on Celestial Churches in Nigeria. The actress made this move to celebrate the church’s month of children’s harvest. Funke shared her desire to touch over 20 churches with the sum of one hundred thousand naira each, on her Instagram page.
Similarly, Davido’s father, Adedeji Adeleke, had donated N1 billion to Cherubim and Seraph Church Headquarters in Surulere, Lagos. The billionaire had attended a Thanksgiving service in memory of his late mother, where he pledged to donate a whopping N1 billion to the church.
In other news, last year, Regina celebrated her mother’s birthday at the grassroots by donating bags of rice and other food items to the widows, orphans, and elders in the community. Recounting the event, Regina revealed that she did it in honour of her mother, who she described as her oracle, queen, pride, and pillar.
