Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels Nwoko has received applause from her fans for advocating for the well-being of the citizens.
The movie star via her Instagram page had shared a video of her husband, during one of his Senatorial meetings, listing out measures to improve the standard of living in the country.
Regina revealed that her ears and notepads are filled with so many things that her husband strongly believes can change the living standard of Nigerian citizens.
She noted how one of the issues citizens are facing is Banking interest rates, which are exorbitant and prohibitive.
Clamoring for bank interest rates to be reduced, Regina avowed that people should be able to borrow to finance their needs and pay back without the burden of excessive charges.
“My ears and notepads are filled with so many things that my husband strongly believes can change the living standard of Nigerian citizens. This is one of the issues citizens are facing in Nigeria. Banking interest rates are exorbitant and prohibitive. As long as it remains like this, the economy can not improve. People must be able to borrow from banks to sort out their needs such as growing their business, medical bills, tuition fees, and even holidays. Just imagine, if you give your money to a bank as a savings deposit, they will pay you are borrowing, you pay them about 23 percent interest. Which is almost 5 times the difference and it is totally unfair to the People. People should be able to borrow to finance their needs and pay back to the banks without the burden of excessive charges. By so doing, there is the circulation of mine in the country which will, in turn, improve the living standards of the people”.

Regina Daniels bags new appointment as Senator’s wife
As Senator’s wife, Regina had been appointed as the Social Secretary of the 10th Assembly Senators’ Wives Forum Executive Council.
The good news was made known by her mother, Rita Daniels, who congratulated her on her new feat.
Calling her ‘her pride’, she stated that when grace speaks for one, it radiates all over them.
Rita further expressed pride in the woman she is becoming as she prayed for God’s continuous blessings and protection for her and her family
Speaking out, Regina shared photos from the inauguration, as she spoke out on the event, which she stated was specifically about the growth of Nigeria.
It was also about how they can help their husbands and the First Lady of the Federation to serve the people better.
Speaking on her appointment, Regina stated that she looks forward to a great Nigeria.
