Former Presidential aide Reno Omokri has taken to social media to reveal the actual cause of the conflict that ensued between Isreal and Palestine countries.
Reno, a human right activist, declared that most people think the conflict between the two countries results from the difference in religion as Isreal is mainly populated by Christians, while in Palestine, the Muslims.
The activist cleared the air by stating that it is a territorial war and there are Israeli Arabs and Christians and Palestinian Christians and Druzes scattered around the world.
He said no one should support one side or the other based on religion because religion is not the essential purpose of fighting; instead, people should love to embrace and support peace regardless of who is wrong and who is right.
In his words;
“People outside Israel and Palestine should not make the Israeli-Palestinian conflict a religious war. I have been to both Israel and Palestine. This is not a religious war. It is a territorial war. Both peoples have growing populations, but limited territory. That is the bottom line. There are Israeli Arabs and Christians, and Palestinian Christians and Druzes. Not everyone in Israel is a Jew or Christian. Not everyone in Palestine is a Muslim. It will shock you to note that John Sununu, the former Governor of New Hampshire and later White House Chief of Staff to the late President George H. W. Bush, is a Palestinian Christian. There are 500,000 Palestinian Christians worldwide. There are also currently 14 Arabs in the Israeli Legislature (The Knesset). So, stop supporting one side or the other based on religion. Instead, why not just support peace, by calling for a ceasefire. Israel deserves to exist. Palestine deserves to exist. How they can both co-exist, should be the focus. Not who is right or who is wrong”.
The struggle between Israelis and Palestinians is one of the world’s most enduring conflicts. Various attempts have been made to resolve the conflict as part of the Israeli–Palestinian peace process.
