Nigerian singer, Ikechukwu Eric Ahiauzu better known as Ric Hassani has given his two cents on cheating in relationships and his relationship with fellow singer, Waje.
In an interview with Radio station, Hot FM Lagos, Ric Hassani stated that he doesn’t mind cheating in a relationship. For him, one only has one life to live and as such, should live it the best way possible.
According to him, he doesn’t mind his partner also cheating on him as long as they have deeper connection. If his partner ever feels like cheating, he would allow her to and even drive her to the man’s place.
“Honestly I don’t mind cheating. I mean you have one life. If you feel like that’s what you wanna do, fine as long as we have a deeper connection. If you are my partner and you feel like, somebody else might be better then me, mehn I go drive you go the guy house”.
Speaking on his relationship with Waje, the singer debunked rumours of an affair. Recall that in 2021, Waje and Ric Hassani were on the lips of many and the cynosure of all eyes with after Waje sparked relationship rumours. Many had assumed that the singers were in a committed relationship.
However, it seems all that were clout and there was nothing between the two. Ric Hassani made it clear that he was never in a relationship with the mother of one and all of it was all planned by Waje.
He chose to stay quiet and not address the rumour because he wanted to see what would happen.
“I am not in a relationship with Waje. We were just catching cruise. It was Waje, this was completely Waje. I found out about our love the same time. I was just staying quiet to see what would happen”.

Kemi Filani recalls that after relying on his discretion, Ric Hassani had cried out over his inability to find a solid and worthy companion.
In a post shared on the microblogging platform, the singer said finding someone these days seems scary considering the level of craziness he has been through.
Ric Hassani said he had decided to allow God to take charge because his discretion had failed him in the past and almost cost him everything.
According to the singer, finding a partner is wisest to surrender to a higher power that depends on one’s ability.
He wrote: Finding someone these days is so scary for me, considering the intense craziness I’ve been through. I have really put it into God’s hands completely at this point, my discretion has failed me in the past and almost cost me everything.
