Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic and her husband, Fidelis Anosike held a memorial service for his late parents and brother.
Kemi Filani reported in 2021 that Rita Dominic had lost her mother-in-law, Joy Emeta Anosike.
Mrs. Anosike’s death was announced in a statement released by the family, which was also confirmed by Rita Dominic.
Months after her death, the couple held a lavish burial ceremony for her. The burial was attended by Queen Nwokoye, Chacha Eke, Destiny Etiko, and Junior Pope.
Two years after her death, the couple held a memorial service for her alongside her late husband, Elias Mordi Anosike, who died 42 years ago, and his brother, Benjamin Chukwudi Anosike, who died 32 years ago.
The service was held on Sunday, 27th of August, 2023 at Immanuel Church, Umueri, Anambra State.
In a joint Instagram post, the couple shared clips from the service as Rita bade them farewell, accompanied by a white heart emoji.

Recall that last year, Rita Dominic and her husband, Fidelis Anosike held a first memorial service in honor of the latter’s late mum, Joy Anosike.
Kemi Filani gathered that the memorial service was held at Nneyi village in Umueri Anambra State.
In videos from the occasion that went viral on social media, Rita Dominic and Fidelis Anosike were seen surrounded by a group of women, all in matching traditional attires.
The women sang an Igbo song and danced softly as they stepped into the church, while Rita and her husband matched behind them for the Thanksgiving service.
