Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie has offered a little prayer to those constantly criticizing her for defending May Edochie in public.
Since May’s separation from her nephew, Yul Edochie, Rita has constantly defended and fought for the mother of three against internet trolls, his new wife Judy Austin, and even Yul himself.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, she noted how people always question why she was always defending May noting how she isn’t her mother-in-law nor does May even acknowledge her or notice her.
Replying to them with a little prayer, Rita Edochie declared that there would come a time in their lives when they would suffer oppression mentally, physically, and emotionally. She stated that such people will look for someone to stand up for them, but they will find none.

Last month, Rita Edochie proudly adopted May Edochie as her daughter despite her separation from Yul Edochie.
She made it known that she would continually protect May Edochie as she likened herself to a Mother Hen.
Sending a message to those who insist she leaves May alone, she let them know that May is now her daughter and she would never leave her, as she promised to stand against anyone who wouldn’t allow her to breathe.
Days back, Rita had defended her brother-in-law, Pete Edochie against the attacks he had been receiving over Yul Edochie’s marital drama.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, Rita made it known that contrary to reports, Pete Edochie isn’t in support of his son’s marriage to Judy Austin. She stated that the actor appearing in one of Judy’s movies, was because he was oblivious to knowing she was the producer of the movie and when he learned that she was in charge of the production, he walked out of her set, refunded her money, and didn’t look back.
She questioned why anyone would expect Pete, to be fighting Yul and Judy at his old age and why anyone would be dragging his wife, Josephine, because she isn’t speaking out publicly. Rita noted how everyone can’t be like her.
