Rita Edochie, the sister-in-law of veteran, Pete Edochie had penned a note to Nigerians, appreciating them for standing by May Edochie, the wife of Yul Edochie.
It is no longer news that the mother of three had a challenging year as she lost her first son, Kambilichukwu, and filed for divorce from her husband of almost 20 years.
Taking to her Instagram page, Rita, who is team May, appreciated Nigerians for rooting and standing by May all through the ordeal. She stated that if she were to pen down her feelings, then a book company would be contracted for supply because there’s a lot to be written.
Urging them to keep the support for May coming this New Year, she stated that the hand that has sworn not to release what it has seized shall be cut into shreds.

On Monday, May in a social media post, poured out her emotions about the transition from 2023 to the new year, 2024, sharing how the past year had been a challenging ride for her, describing it as a series of catastrophic events that left her sad.
May spoke on the adversities and misfortunes she faced in 2023, expressing that the worst blow was the tragic loss of her flesh and blood. Despite dealing with despair, she admitted that she almost gave up but found strength in her faith, and learned not to question God’s will.
Her recent statement came in contrast to her ex-husband, Yul Edochie’s 2023 speech, where he expressed that the past year had been his best yet, filled with achievements and grace from God.
His positive outlook on 2023 raised eyebrows, especially considering the shared tragedy of losing a child with May. People were confused by his gratitude and joy for the year.
In her last post for the year to Judy Austin, Rita slammed Judy for coming into Edochie’s family to kill and destroy. However, she is assured that since nothing lasts forever, Judy’s plot in the family will come to an end.
