Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie is marking the two months’ remembrance of Kambilichukwu, the late son of Yul Edochie and May Edochie.
In a post on her Instagram page, the sister-in-law to Pete Edochie threw shade at Yul Edochie and his wife, Judy Austin, who she described as Drama King and Drama Devil.
She stated that her consolation is knowing that he is resting in the bosom of the Lord Jesus Christ.
She added that though he is gone, he isn’t forgotten and they all are trying to cope with his untimely death
Rita Edochie prayed for May to have the fortitude to bear the loss as she is trying her best to be more strong.
“Let the drama king and drama devil know this.
Kambili my son, today marks exactly two months since you departed this sinful world, to the great beyond. Our consolation is that you are resting in the bosom of our lord Jesus Christ. My son, you are gone but not forgotten. We are trying to cope with the vacuum your untimely death left in our hearts. By looking to the good Lord to grant us the fortitude to bear the loss. Your mother Queen May Edochie is doing great and trying her best to be more strong. Your siblings are fine too though they miss you but it is well”.
Yul Edochie and wife May lose their first son
Kemi Filani reported the saddening news of the demise of Yul Edochie and May Edochie’s first son, Kambilichukwu, in March 2023.
The young champ who celebrated his birthday in January died after he was reportedly rushed to the hospital and placed on medical care.
According to reports, Kambilichukwu had read throughout the night in preparation for his exams. After his examination, he joined his friends to play football. While playing, he slumped and developed a seizure.
He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he was confirmed dead.
Yul Edochie finally breaks silence on son’s death, recounts his last moment with him
Speaking out on his son’s death in April, Yul Edochie recounted his last moment with his son.
According to him, his son came into his room, on the day of his death, dressed up for school to tell him that his school would be having an Interhouse sports competition a day later, which he had promised to attend.
He recounted how they both joked about his height and how he spoke to him about his gold medal in swimming, which he was excited about.
Unfortunately, he never came back home and he can’t question God.
Since then, Yul Edochie has been sharing loved-up videos of him and his second wife, Judy Austin which has left many enraged.
The actor and movie producer has also returned to work and his daily activities.
