In a recent Instagram post, actress Rita Edochie and in-law to Pete Edochie vehemently addressed what she termed as lies circulating about her attitude towards the marital issues involving Yul Edochie and his estranged wife, May Yul Edochie.
Rita Edochie expressed her frustration with netizens and bloggers who have been spreading what she deems false narratives about her relationship with Queen May Yul Edochie.

Taking a bold stance on her Instagram, Rita Edochie addressed the allegations that she is feigning her love and support for Queen May Yul Edochie. Various sources, including blogs, have suggested that Rita harbors negative feelings towards May Yul and wishes to exclude her from the family.
Dismissing these claims as baseless and unfounded, Rita asserted that she felt compelled to address them due to concerns about her reputation.
Hammering on her genuine intentions, Rita Edochie clarified that whenever she speaks about Yul Edochie’s relationship, it is with the sincere desire to see him reconcile with May Yul and end his marriage to Judy Austin, his second wife. Rita also stated that she holds the hope for a peaceful and loving reunion between Yul and May.
Responding to criticisms suggesting she should handle the matter privately, Rita countered by stating that private interventions had been attempted repeatedly, yielding no positive results. She defended her decision to address the situation publicly, speaking on her hope to see Yul and May restore their union.
Rita Edochie made it clear that her love for Yul is unwavering, and she could never speak ill of him or troll him online as he is her husband’s brother. She further hinted at her disapproval of Judy Austin, Yul’s second wife, who he married while still actively married to May Yul Edochie.
