Nollywood actress Ronke Oshodi has given flowers to Iyabo Ojo for including her ex-husband in her daughter’s wedding.
In an interview on Oyinmomo TV, she praised Iyabo and recalled how she was always going everywhere with her kids when they were young. She praised the mother of two for being devoted and revealed that she respects her. Ronke said she also learnt a lesson from Iyabo and how she included her daughter’s father in her wedding.
The Yoruba actress admonished Nigerians not to blame Tope Alabi for excluding the father of her kids at their daughter’s wedding. She noted how the bride has grown to make decisions for herself.
“I give kudos to Iyabo Ojo. When Priscilla and her brother were young, she always went everywhere with them. She is a Devoted mother. I now respect her more when I saw Priscilla’s Dad at the wedding. I also learnt a lesson from her. Don’t let us blame Tope Alabi for not allowing the father of her daughter to be present at her wedding. The girl is 27 years old, maybe she was the one who didn’t want to see her dad. She is an adult. If she really wanted her dad, she would have insisted to her mum. I am not supporting what Tope did, but let us take it easy on her. I am sure Priscilla wanted her dad to be at the wedding, that was why you all saw him”.
Recall that When Priscilla held her introduction and Nikka ceremony in Tanzania, her father was absent, which raised eyebrows. Many speculated that he was absent because he wasn’t invited, because he was allegedly a deadbeat.
Proven them wrong, Iyabo’s ex-husband was present at her traditional and white wedding which left many singing the actress‘ praises.
Iyabo Ojo was once married to the father of her two kids, Mr. Ademidun Ojo. Unfortunately, the marriage packed up shortly after the birth of their two children.
Speaking on it, Iyabo in a podcast interview revealed that she experienced poverty for the first time when she married her now ex-husband. She described the experience with her ex-husband as an adventure for her, as she was craving attention, which her now ex was providing to her at that time.
Unlike Iyabo, when Tope Alabi’s daughter tied the knot in March, her father was noticeably absent. Her daughter even slammed her father, hinting at a strained relationship between them.
