Nollywood actress, Ronke Oshodi Oke has called out her daughter’s tertiary institution for their act of negligence.
The light-skinned Yoruba thespian in a video posted on her Instagram page, narrated how her daughter was poisoned by either her friends or roommates.
According to her, she got a distress call at 3:45 am informing her that her daughter was in the hospital because she drank hypo.
On getting there, she saw her daughter in distress as she was crying and looking disheveled.
Though how her daughter drank hypo remains a mystery to everyone, she feels her friends/roommates were trying to poison her.
Ronke stated that she bought her daughter a nontransparent water bottle, which she took to school, and drinks from with a straw, which made it possible for her to be poisoned.
Not disclosing the name of the institution, Ronke Oshodi warned them not to mess with her kids as she wouldn’t take it lightly with them if there is a reoccurrence.
“About 3 weeks ago, they called me around 3:45 am that my daughter Jumy drank hypo. I went to the school and I met her crying, she wasn’t herself. It seems like her friends kept hypo in her water to kill her.
I intentionally do not want to mention the name of the school because I don’t want to ruin them.
Issuing the school a warning, she said, “If anything happens to my daughter, I wouldn’t take it lightly”.
She added, “We went to three hospitals before she became okay”.

A few months back, a video made rounds on Instagram captured Ronke Oshodi addressing her skin and weight loss issue, which had fans trolling her.
The veteran actress disclosed that she had been going through a lot but kept mute because she did not want to cause a stir online.
Ronke Oshodi also called out her trolls, claiming she would not be tolerating rubbish from them because they did not know what she went through.
“I am not a fan of filters. To those making comments about my skin and weight loss, do you pray to experience what happened to me?
“You go on your keypads to type rubbish. Is it because I didn’t come out to beg for a donation? With what happened to me, if I didn’t have good skin before, it would have been terrible…” part statement reads.
Her outburst had left many of her fans, colleagues, and followers worried and concerned as they questioned the state of her mental health.
In a post on her Instagram page, Ronke Oshodi assured everyone that she is mentally fit.
The veteran Yoruba actress appreciated all her fans and colleagues for their love. She stated that she never knew she was much loved on the internet.

The actress however dismissed the claims in an interview saying “I am 100 percent fine and okay. But, I am on a weight loss journey for certain reasons.
