Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer and her husband, Olakunle Churchill were in Ondo State this week to celebrate his mother.
Kemi Filani reported on October 9 that Rosy Meurer’s mother-in-law had turned a year older. Churchill had shared photos of his mother, he stated that he was convinced that God blessed him with the absolute best mother on the planet. He noted how his mother has always been his biggest supporter, as he revealed his heart’s desire for her.
Rosy had followed suit, calling her mother-in-law a beautiful and selfless human. She described the celebrant as her model because of her calm and sweet personality as well as her funny and caring side.
Now, the couple had celebrated her birthday by storming Ondo State with his family to honor her. Sharing photos from what appears to be a Thanksgiving service held in her honor, Rosy revealed that they were in Ondo with family and friends to celebrate a life beautifully lived and to honor her mother-in-law for her unwavering support, love, and wisdom.
She said that moments like these remind them of the strength and warmth that family brings, as she also expressed how grateful she is to share this legacy with those who knew and loved her mother.

Churchill and Meurer’s marriage continues to wax stronger each year despite the lies and hate thrown at them. In August, last year, anonymous Instagram blogger, Gistlover alleged that their marriage was on the rock over infidelity and domestic violence. The blog claimed that Churchill hadn’t been sleeping at home and had been beating Rosy, who is the breadwinner of the family, and puts on a facade online when she praises her husband.
In December, the couple was hit with another scandal as the same blogger alleged that Churchill was planning to take another wife, Lisa Yaro, and had been beaten Rosy on several occasions because of her. To further fuel the rumors, Churchill took to his Instagram page to pour praises on her.
However, despite the rumors, the couple celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary in December, and welcomed their second child, a baby girl in October.
During the weekend, the couple unveiled their daughter’s face to the world as they celebrated her first birthday with a Barbie-themed bash, which had in attendance some celebrities like Eniola Badmus, Nosa Rex, Uche Ogbodo, and a host of others.
