Nigerian singer and songwriter Michael Adebayo Olayinka, better known as Ruger, has called on interested single women to send him applications following a threat from his mother.
On his Snapchat page, ‘The Girlfriend’ singer revealed that his mother has given him until December as a deadline to bring home a serious girl. He stated that his mother had threatened to arrange a girl for him if he failed to do so.
Lamenting, Ruger urged any lady interested in a relationship with him to send in their application, or he would risk being on a distress sale by December.
“My mama don give me December as deadline. If I no bring one serious girl come house, she go arrange one for me. Ladies, pls send in application. If not, I will be on distress sale by December”.

In 2022, Ruger was romantically linked to The Johnson’s series star, Susan Pwajok. They sparked relationship rumours after they were seen all loved up in a video compilation posted on the actress’s TikTok page. However, Ruger had shut down the rumours, saying Susan is nothing but his Bestie.
In a Twitter rant, Ruger lamented how he was finding it difficult to find love and that his heart was cold, which made it difficult for him to love anybody. The singer questioned what could possibly be the problem and what was stopping him from loving like any other person.
In an interview with Tolani Baj, the singer shared his sexual conquest, revealing that he had been in a threesome with a black and a white girl. He went on to disclose that he was at a point in his life when he was actively seeking love and did not want to be toxic anymore. He revealed that he was open to finding love and nurturing it.
Ruger earned massive backlash after taking a swipe at Nigerian women. The singer declared that Nigeria doesn’t have the best women in the world, as he described them as toxic and liars.
