Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has debunked speaking on the cheating scandal of Nigerian Gospel singer Sammie Okposo.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, Ruth Kadiri said she did not weigh in on the Sammie Okposo issue as widely speculated because she does not know what has been happening between the parties involved.
Ruth Kadiri noted that whenever she chooses to weigh in on an issue, she clearly mentions whoever she’s referring to, and people should avoid creating any conflicts with her post.
In her words: Please for clarity blogger I didn’t weigh in like you claim cos I don’t know what’s been up with these people up here. When I choose to weigh in on an issue I will clearly mention whoever I’m referring to, which in this post is not the case. Don’t create any sort of conflicts on my post. Let Christians listen to it. Kemi Filani News recalls Sammie Okposo on Tuesday 25th January 2022 tendered an unreserved apology to his wife for cheating on her during a recent trip to the USA.
In a statement shared on his Instagram page, Sammie Okposo regrets his actions noting that it was inappropriate for a married man and minister of the Gospel.
Sammie Okposo noted that his actions had caused much pain to his wife and family; hence, he would be suspending himself from all ministry work until complete restoration.
According to Sammie Okposo, he broke his wife’s trust and disappointed her but hopes to build back the trust and confidence eventually.
