Popular Nigerian comedian and skitmaker, Emmanuel Chukwuemeka, better known as Mr Funny or Sabinus and his wife, Ciana Chapman, have debunked domestic violence accusations.
Hours ago, Instagram blogger Cutie Julls had alleged that the comedian was physically assaulting his wife.
“But why does Sabinus like beating his Iyawo tho?
Men!! Just when you think one is better. Boom, they disappoint”, the blogger wrote.
Shutting it down, his wife, via her Instagram story, warned the blogger to leave her and her family as she questioned how the skitmaker could be beating her when he is in Nigeria and she is in the UK.
“Take my name and that of my family off your mouth and page.
How, can my husband be in Nigeria and be beating me here in the UK?”.
Also reacting, Sabinus questioned how he could lay his hands on a woman that resides in the UK. Noting how Nigeria is filled with funny people, he made it known that his wife has been in the UK for two years now.
“How can I lay my hands on a woman that stays in the UK. Omo una really funny for this country. She has been in the UK for two years now. Omo na wa o”.
Kemi Filani reported in September 2022 that Sabinus held a private introduction ceremony with his fiancee, in Lagos.
A netizen who leaked the news with a video claimed that the skitmaker came to his area to do a small engagement at his girlfriend’s parent’s house in Era Ojo, Lagos.
Confirming the news in January 2023, his wife, Ciana Chapman, had called him her husband as she sweetly celebrated him on his birthday. She appreciated him for the priceless memories they had made together, as she expressed how excited she was to experience more of the world with him.
In May, Sabinus had also celebrated her birthday with a beautiful note, describing her as his right hand and life partner.
In April, the couple had announced the birth of her first child, but didn’t reveal the sex of the child. The comedian revealed the news in an Instagram live session with a video of him kissing his newborn, as he bade his fans and followers goodnight.
