Sam Larry, one of the aides to singer, Naira Marley has reacted to the death rumors making rounds online about him.
Taking to his Instagram page, he debunked the false information as he stated that he spent the day together with family and even went out for dinner and returned home safely.
He stated that despite the prevalence of fake news about him, his fans and lovers should disregard them as he noted how people are out to tarnish his reputation. Leaving them to God for judgment, he appreciated those who voiced their concern for him as he prayed for those peddling false rumors about him to experience such.
“I, Samlarry, want to use this platform to debunk the false information spreading online about my involvement in an accident. Both my family and I are perfectly fine; we spent the day together and even went out for dinner, returning home safely. Despite the prevalence of fake news, please disregard any online claims about me. While some may seek to tarnish my reputation, I entrust them to God for judgment. I appreciate the concern of my friends and family, but rest assured, I am doing well, and nothing untoward has occurred. To those spreading falsehoods, may your actions reflect on you. Thank you, Samlarry. God bless your home”.
Recall that Naira Marley and Sam Larry lost the admiration of Nigerians when a video of Sam assaulting the late Mohbad surfaced online.
The video, which went viral, showed Mohbad in what seems to be a wheelchair with fellow artist Zlatan. Sam Larry was seen hitting him from behind before the intervention of Zlatan.
The video sparked a flurry of reactions from the online community and led to the cancelation of Naira Marley and his label.
The duo were arrested and kept in police custody for more than five weeks but were released on November 17th after they met their bail conditions.
The magistrate, on Monday, November 6 granted the duo bail in the sum of N20m with three responsible duties
Mohbad was signed to Naira Marley’s” Marlian Records” and left the label in 2022, and died a year later at the age of 27
Following their release from police detention, Sam Larry and Naira Marley had engaged engaging in Charity work. Together with Zinoleesky, they stormed an orphanage home where they donated food items.
In videos that made rounds, the trio had donated foodstuffs to the less privileged as a means of repairing their soiled image.
As expected, their charity works didn’t sit with many, who noted how they are trying to buy back the love of the public.
Last month, Sam had caused a stir online as he engaged in another charity work, but this time for children.
In a viral video, the embattled socialite was seen in a school distributing exercise books to pupils. As expected, the video left many talking as they noted how he is only doing damage control.
