Nigerian music producer Samklef has slammed music star Davido for shading the estranged wife of his logistics manager, Israel DMW.
Kemi Filani reported that Davido threw a shot at Sheila, as he stated that he was sure she was feeling bad because Israel was on top. Davido noted how they have been taking jets and spending billions of dollars to have fun, as he said it was Sheila’s loss.
In a series of tweets, Samklef questioned how he can call someone’s ex-wife a bitch. Calling it uncool, he told the music star that such remarks were wrong, and he nodded mentorship.
In another tweet, he questioned how Davido would feel if someone called his wife, such as he told him to grow up. Samklef stated that Davido’s rivals, Wizkid and Burna Boy, would never do such. He further questioned if Israel wasn’t flying private jets before his marriage as he noted how the singer lacks empathy and morals, but his fans continue to enable his behaviour.

Dear Davido, you’ve shown a lack of morals by calling Israel’s wife a “bi*tch.” How would you feel if someone called your wife, Chioma, the same? Wasn’t Israel already flying in private jets before your marriage? Why do you lower yourself like this? You seem to lack empathy and morals, but of course, your hypocritical fans won’t see the problem in your childish remark. Happiness doesn’t come from flying in a private jet—you need mentorship and counselling”.
Recall that Samklef fell out with Davido in October, 2023 after the singer accused him of leaking photos of his wife, Chioma, and their twins, which Samklef denied.
Angered by Davido’s action, Samklef had taken several shots at Davido, over accusations of him owing people, referring to Davido as “owe owe 1,” a play on Davido’s signature “001”, indirectly labeling him as a beggar and advised him to look up to his rival, Wizkid.
Samklef even went as low as comparing the music star to Portable’s former signee, Yung Dee, and gave him further suggestions.
Surprisingly, he appeared to have ended his feud with Davido, as he called on him to start making amends and apologize to those he’s allegedly wronged. Samklef pointed out that Davido had once publicly insulted his uncle, Dele Momodu, because of a financial dispute. He also accused Davido of accepting money from the NFF chairman while continuing to taunt and belittle the eldërly man and more.
He had even compared Davido with Dammy Krane, stating that before the existence of Davido, there was Dammy Krane in the musical scene.
