Nollywood actor, Olaniyi Afonja popularly known as Sanyeri has poured out a sweet encomium on his wife, Omolara on her birthday today, February 26th.
In a lengthy post on his Instagram page, Sanyeri made a lifetime promise to his wife as he vowed to love her till his last breath.
The actor appreciated his wife for being more than just a wife to him. According to the Yorba actor, his wife is his sister, confidant, prayer warrior, adviser, motivator and the mother to his children.
He described her as one of African’s most cherished women, hence why he calls her a rare gem.
The movie star revealed that he found his life’s true meaning since the day he married her as she filled his heart with so much peace and joy.
“Omolarami, the treasure I seek with every bit of my breath. If stories can be wiped off and rewritten, I will clear off all my wrongs in the past and write your name permanently on very star I can lay my hand on, so that the world can know how important you are to me.
Omolarami, I found my life’s true meaning since the day you married me. You fill my heart, soul and body with so much peace and joy. You are beautiful, adorable, elegant, stunning, vibrant, hardworking, motivating, supportive and prayerful.
What else would I have asked for in a woman? When counting my blessings, I count you multiple times because you light up my world and I’m the luckiest man on the planet Earth to have you as my wife.

His birthday note is coming as a surprise as last year, Sanyeri’s wife announced divorce from him.

Kemi Filani reported that Omolara Olaiya, the wife of actor Olaniyi Afonja, popularly known as Sanyeri, had cleared the misconception about their marriage of 15 years.
Announcing their divorce on Instagram on December 4, 2022, Omolara disclosed that they had been separated for nine years.
The Canada-based businesswoman said she maintained a cordial relationship with the actor for the sake of their children and has chosen happiness over drama.
Sanyeri’s now enstranged wife also warned those interfering with her private life, saying that everyone should mind their business.
She wrote: “This is to clarify some misconceptions concerning my marriage and private life.
