Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has written a touching note to herself following her latest win.
Kemi Filani reported a month back that Sarah had expressed excitement as her brand got recognised in Africa’s Under 40 CEOs award/summit. Martins congratulated herself as she noted how hard work pays.
Taking to her Instagram page, Sarah shared a video of herself receiving her award at the event. In her caption, Martins noted how she started her empire with just N100,000 in 2019, never took no for an answer, and built a whole empire.
Expressing pride in herself, she praised herself for being resilient, consistent, goal-driven, and not relying on her beauty, but working hard to prove that beauty isn’t enough.
“To the girl who started an empire with 100,000 naira in 2019, to the girl who never took no for an answer, to the girl who remained focused and built a whole empire starting with 100k, I am proud of you.
To the young, resilient, consistent, goal-driven, beautiful young women who didn’t rely only on their beauty but worked so hard to prove that beauty is not enough, I am proud of you.

A few days back, Sarah was left emotional after hitting a million views on YouTube in less than four weeks. Martins stated that she was evidence that God is real, as she expressed gratitude to everyone who had watched, liked, commented, shared, and subscribed to her YouTube channel.
Some weeks back, Martins had laid a heavy curse on a movie editor for frustrating her sweat funds. She revealed that she suffered and single-handedly produced a movie worth millions, and a wicked editor sent her a bunch of crabs. Martins lamented that this was her hard-earned money, sweat, and sleepless nights with no assistance, and yet she got rewarded in a bad way.
Months back, Martins had blown hot at an unidentified person for belittling her over her job. Sarah made it known that her job pays her 5 to 10 million monthly, and it gives her more respect than sleeping with married men for sponsorship. Martins declared that she is a legit hustler and that people should stop comparing her to a prostītute.
