Dj Cuppy is celebrating eight years of being verified on Instagram, and she shared the trick she used to achieve her goal.
In her post, Dj Cuppy wrote;
”Self hype can actually make your dreams come true. Keep believing in yourself and stay committed! You have to be your biggest fan.”
The slides she posted were of her Instagram page in 2016, and she had about ninety-one-thousand followers, and currently in 2024, she has about nine-million followers.
This numbers makes Dj Cuppy one of the highest followed celebrities in Nigeria, with Davido at number one.
Dj Cuppy has been celebrating little wins here and there, starting from her pursuance of a fourth degree, down to her inanimate sibling Bunnie, who she introduced recently on Instagram.
She has quite an active social media life, constantly posting about both work and family.
Recently, she lost her grandmother, and she was able to walk fans through the events at the funeral, and she even got to share the lessons she learnt while visiting her grandmother’s hometown.
Although Dj Cuppy seems very chirpy, she has had her fair share of social media drama, and one of the most recent came from her ex-fiancé Ryan.
It was rumored that Ryan was in a relationship when he met Dj Cuppy and in less than four months, he engaged her.
Dj Cuppy’s engagement didn’t get a lot of positive reception from netizens, as she was called all sorts of names, and the most constant was desperate.
In less than a year of dating and being engaged, Dj Cuppy and Ryan broke up, to the joy of a lot of netizens.
Over the years, she has been constantly matched with Anthony Joshua by online in-laws, but both of them have maintained that they’re just friends, and nothing more.
