Legendary singer 2baba, otherwise known as 2face, has caused a stir online with a trending video of him and politician Senator Ita Giwa.
The singer, who is close friends with the politician, had attended her low-key birthday dinner in Lagos. In a video making rounds online, the senator was captured hugging the singer in a warm embrace. In another clip, the two were captured chatting.

2face partying with Senator Ita Giwa in Lagos is coming weeks after his mother and family declared him missing
Kemi Filani reported last month that after the news of their engagement, 2face’s mother, Rose Idibia, made a passionate appeal to Natasha. She begged the Edo lawmaker to remove the beads she kept on her son’s hands and neck and free him. Rose Idibia noted how her son was going through a divorce process from Annie and as such, wasn’t in his right senses.
The singer’s family had even filed a petition to the DSS calling for the intervention of the singer from Natasha. His family claimed that the legendary singer had been missing and was last seen in his loungewear.
Senator Ita Giwa’s relationship with the legendary singer isn’t surprising, as the two have shared a close bond for years.
Recall that when 2face and his estranged wife, Annie, reconciled in 2021 after a messy social media fight, Ita Giwa treated the then-couple to a reconciliatory dinner in her luxurious home. The senator had a motherly chat with them and helped them iron out their differences.
