Nigerian musician, Seun Kuti has made a mockery of comedian, Ayo Makun over his burnt house.
It is no longer news that the comedian and his family lost their Lagos mansion to a fire inferno, which made them temporarily move to the US.
Seun pointed out how AY called his daughter a dog in one of his dry skits and was using his (Seun) trials and tribulations to make jokes. He claimed that he was always supportive of AY especially when he lost his house, yet AY made jokes poking fun at his daughter.
Dropping a bombshell about the comedian, he claimed that AY beats his wife and has a smelling mouth which everyone knows in the industry.
He went on to describe the comedian as unfunny, and a master of dry jokes.
“The very day Ayo Makun’s house got burnt, I went live. Can’t you people remember when he portrayed my daughter as a dog in his dry skits and was using my trials and tribulations to make jokes? He has a mouth odor, you can ask anyone in the industry to confirm this. Is it not the same Ayo that beats his wife every time? All of you were laughing that time, now see what happened to him”.
Recall that in August, news made rounds that the Lagos house of AY was gutted by fire and millions of properties were destroyed.
Videos online captured the moment a Lagos State Fire Service truck tried quenching the raging fire. Luckily for the comedian, his wife, and his kids were on vacation overseas, when the incident happened.
AY expressed gratitude that his wife and kids were saved, as he noted how everything else comes and goes.
Following the incident, the actor had temporarily relocated to the US with his family.
In a later post, Ayo Makun while bemoaning his predicament, revealed how it feels like knowing the only wardrobe he has is the clothes and shoes he traveled with.
Despite his huge loss, he is assured that he will rebuild his life using his adversity as a stepping stone.
For him, there is no such thing as going back to square one and he is confident that God wouldn’t disgrace him.
