Nigerian comedian, Seyi Law has shared a disturbing message his wife received from a political extreme over his presidential choice.
Recall that during the election, Seyi Law lost the love and support of fans when he declared his love for Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The comedian’s wife had received a DM from a troll praying for his daughter’s death.
The troll had promised the comedian who also doubles as an actor that the UK, where he and his family reside wouldn’t be suitable for them.
According to the troll, since the comedian wanted to destroy Nigeria, his daughter would also lose her life in the UK.

“Tell your husband, UK no go contain Una. This your daughter must die. Since he joined the people destroying Nigeria and he carry una go UM go hide, na that same UK Dem go take kill this una daughter”.
Sharing the screenshot of the DM, he wrote,
“See what one of them sent to my wife. Even more in my DM for not supporting their candidate”.
Seyi Law declares support for Tinubu
Kemi Filani reported that Seyi Law had in a post on social media declared his full support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The comedian who also doubles as an actor made this known in a post shared via his verified Instagram page.
According to Seyi Law, he would be voting for Tinubu ahead of PDP’s Atiku and Labour Party’s Peter Obi because Tinubu has brought a lot of development to Lagos State and it can’t be overlooked.
Seyi Law wrote, “We can pretend, refuse to accept it, and even deny it, but what Tinubu did to rebuild Lagos after the military era can never be overstated. You can use other metrics I don’t know to judge him, but to deny his works in Lagos as governor and the continuity is plain hatred.
If I was paid to campaign for ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU, let God judge me. I have always maintained my stance that I will never receive money to campaign for any politician and that I have always kept. This coming election, BAT is my candidate.”
His declaration received heavy backlash as many dragged him for supporting him.
I apologize to those offended by my support to Bola Tinubu’ – Seyi Law begs
Following Tinubu’s victory in the election, Seyi Law has tendered an apology.
Seyi Law via his Instagram page apologized to all that he might have offended with his immense support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu (also known as Asiwaju).
The Rib cracker who is presently living in the United Kingdom with his wife and kids wrote: “My fellow Nigerians, I am happy you’re as passionate as you are about your preferred candidates. That is the way politics should be. However, bitterness and hatred towards one another shouldn’t have a place between us.
You might not see things the way I see it. That doesn’t mean you are wrong, and I am right. It just means that we are different. If your candidates have won, I would have prayed and worked for his success and mine.
I apologize to those offended by my support, and I seriously condemn all the violence across the country. I have mixed feelings not for my candidate’s winning, but for your genuine anger. However, I pray Nigeria and Nigerians’ lives get better.
From the bottom of my heart, I say THANK YOU.
