Popular Nigerian Nigerian Filmmaker, Ugezu J Ugezu has beckoned on the Nigerian youths to get ready to exercise their voting rights come the next general elections in Nigeria in 2023.
This is coming after an aged woman was seen exercising her voting rights at the just concluded Osun State Governorship election which saw Adeleke grab the winner’s mantle.
Ugezu shared the photo of the grandma voting and wrote, “This image must stick on the brains of all. Shame on any young man and woman who will not file out and vote come 2023. We can do it and restart the engine of this country for the good of all. Make we do am.”

Recall that Independent National Electoral Commission had earlier declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Ademola Adeleke, the winner of the Osun governorship election.
The Returning Officer for the election and Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, announced that Adeleke got a total of 403,371 votes beating the incumbent, Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, who got 375,027 votes in a keenly contested race.
He said, “I declare Adeleke Ademola Jackson Nurudeen, on behalf of the chairman of INEC, of the PDP, having satisfied the requirement of the law, is hereby declared the winner and he is returned elected.”
