Sheggz Olusemo, a Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ housemate, has shut down rumors of a break-up with his co-star and lover, Bella Okagbue.
Rumors have been making rounds that the BBNaija’s lovers are headed for a breakup over family issues. According to reports, Sheggz’s sister has complained to him about Bella’s rudeness and nastiness and has stopped supporting their relationship. Ugedegbe, a sibling to Bella has also stopped liking Sheggz’s post as the two family clash.
The rumors further claimed that Bella is trying to force a baby on Sheggz, which doesn’t sit well with his family.
Sheggz while addressing the rumours, revealed how someone sent him a DM about it. He stated that the joblessness in Nigeria is on the rise as no one wants to work.
The reality star said this would be the last time he would address such nonsense as he and his wife are good and he is allowed to see his family real quick. The reality star explained that he wasn’t opportuned to see his parents during the festive season.
“Someone sent a DM. The joblessness in naij, no one wants to work. This is the last time I’ll address nonsense. My wife and I are good, I’m allowed to go and see my family real quick. Didn’t see Mumsi for New Year or Christmas. Y’all are weird”.
The lovebirds met and fell in love on the hit reality show, Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ season. Since then, the couple has been waxing stronger against all odds and criticisms.
Last year, the lovebirds celebrated one year of being together against all odds.
Leading the anniversary message, Sheggz stated that though he hates to say it all, he told haters of his love for Bella. According to him, it is one year down for them, and more to go.
Bella on her part, noted how their relationship isn’t perfect, but the love they have for each other makes up for all the small imperfections. She further expressed excitement at what the future holds for them, as she expressed her love for him.
In an interview months back, Big Bella, as her fans call her, had shut down fans querying her for getting back with Sheggz, despite his ex allegations.
The reality star faulted those criticizing her for staying with the reality star who many believed is toxic. Amid the allegations from Sheggz’s ex, Bella stated that she wanted to experience things herself.
In more recent news, Sheggz had come to the defense of his girlfriend, following criticisms of her speaking voice. Sheggz, addressing the issue on Twitter, criticized the trend of faking accents and praised Bella for her authenticity.
He expressed disappointment at the ongoing body shaming and negative comments aimed at women in 2023, emphasizing that such behavior is unacceptable.
