More facts have emerged on how Mr Ola Ibironke aka Dudu Heritage, died suddenly on Sunday.
Ibironke, who was married to pretty Nollywood actress, Bimbo Oshin, was a music promoter and also the Captain of Ibadan Golf Club (IGC).
According to reports, he slumped at the golf club around 8:30pm while out with his friends.
Meanwhile, all efforts to resuscitate him proved abortive as he was rushed to the hospital where he was later confirmed dead.
Confirming the news in a statement on Monday, Ibadan Golf Club official wrote, “We are shocked by the sudden demise of our Captain, Mr. OLA IBIRONKE. The Course is hereby closed and all club activities are suspended until further notice while the Flag will be hoisted at half mast. Our prayers are with his family and members of this great Club. Further details will be announced.”
However, ace musician, Sir Shina Peters, who was a friend of the deceased disclosed that they were still together on Sunday without anyone having premonition of Ibironke’s death.
The musician who shared a video of himself and the deceased alongside King Wasiu Ayinde Marsahll and media entrepreneur Dele Momodu, wrote on Instagram:
“It came as a shock to me when I heard the news of the passing of my friend and brother Ibironke, CEO DUDU HERITAGE. 3 days ago we hung out together, you, myself @delemomoduovation kingwasiuayindemarshal and Otunba Bimbola Davies, we further went to party where we danced and had a nice time together and just yesterday I heard the news of your passing. I am speechless and my heart is saddened, my sincere condolences to your family. You will be missed greatly my friend, you have gone to rest in a better place.” (sic)
The late promoter died on September 12, 2021.
