Nigerian singer, Simi has knocked Skitmakers, Nons Miraj, Ashmusy, and others over their wrong depiction of African mums.
Kemi Filani reported that the Skitmakers had made a skit of them dressed as African mums in traditional attire, visiting a restaurant.
The video captured the moment they entered the restaurant in their different traditional attire, disgusting eating their meals, taking photos like typical African mums, and packing all the utensils.
Simi, who found the video appalling, slammed them for portraying African mums in the wrong light.
Taking to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter now known as X, Simi described the video as a mess, as she noted how they eating like dogs, which got her mad.
She added that she doesn’t know any mother who acts like that, as she admonished them to do better in their skits.
“That video about African moms where they looked a mess and we’re eating like dogs made me mad af.
I don’t know anybody’s mom that acts like that. Y’all get your jokes together”.
Taking to the comment section, while many concurred with her, others knocked her as they noted how it was only a skit.
