Nigerian singer Simi Ogunleye has expressed appreciation to God as she marks her birthday with lovely photos.
In the post shared on her Instagram page, Simi said it’s hard to count her blessings because they are numerous, and she’s intensely grateful to God.
Simi said she’s thankful for all the work God has shown through her, waking up every day and for all the hopes and dreams she has been able to achieve.
In her words: It’s hard to count my blessings because there are so many, but I’m intensely grateful to God. For all the marvelous things He has poured into my life. All the great people He has surrounded me with.
All the mighty works He has shown through me. I’m thankful for the things that make me excited to wake up everyday. All the hopes and dreams I’m able to have and all the ones I’ve been able to achieve.
All the love people have for me. All the hate He has shielded me from. For the prayers He has answered and the ones He has not, for my sake. For giving me grace to learn and grow. For my husband, my baby girl, my mama, my siblings, my friends.
I’m happy and thankful for all these testimonies, and the others – because like I said, counting my blessings is hard to do, because they are so many. Happy birthday to the Woman I have become.
