It is the birthday of Deja, the daughter of music couple, Adekunle Gold and Simi. The toddler turns 4 today, May 30th and her excited mother had taken to social media to celebrate her.
Sharing a clip of her and her mini-me, she revealed that sometimes she begs God to make more room in her heart because the love she has for Deja has it bursting all the seems.
She stated that when she prayed for her daughter, God rolled his sleeves and told her to watch him do too much. She described Deja as her light, heart, best friend, twin, joy, and beautiful little fireball.
Simi added that if she has space, she would love her more.
“Sometimes I beg God to make more room in my heart, because all this love I have for you has it bursting at the seams. For her 3rd birthday last year, Simi had composed a song for Deja. She expressed how she lacked words to describe her feelings for her daughter, as her daughter is everything and she will get it together for her sake.
Adekunle Gold, on his part, penned a touching note to her, revealing hat he has many beautiful stories of her to tell, but his favorite was when she reached out to him to carry her, she patted him and expressed how proud she is of him.
To celebrate her day, the proud parents threw a blue-themed birthday bash for their mini-me, which Simi shared on her Instagram page along with an appreciation post.
A few weeks back, the couple celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary with the release of their music video. The lovebirds took time to reminisce about the time they spent together for five years, and expressed how happy they are that their union is thriving.
Adekunle Gold got married to Simi in 2019 and they welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Deja in 2020.
