Nigerian talented musician turned politician, Banky Wellington has won the house of representatives primaries for the Eti-Osa Federal constituency.
Banky contested for a slot in National Assembly under the umbrella of People Democratic Party.
in a video showing how the votes were counted, Banky W gallantly won by 28 votes against his opponent who got only three votes.
Winning the primaries means that Banky will represent PDP as the House of Reps candidate in the upcoming election.
Days ago Bankole Wellington AKA Banky W called on his friends to support his political ambition and donate to his campaign account.
He wrote: “If you have friends running for office, please pray for them and donate to their campaign. You have no idea how draining this process is.”
His colleague in the music industry, Samklef reacted to this, he wrote, “Banky W ( Pdp candidate ) wants Nigerians to pray for politicians friends wey wan run for office say make una donate for him campaign say e no easy..How una see am?”
