Temi Ovwasa’s journey within the Nigerian music industry has not been without its fair share of challenges. Notably, last month, she had made headlines by discussing her experiences with the YBNL record label, owned by Olamide. During this time, her allegations against Olamide’s wife drew considerable attention.
She claimed that she had been mistreated and publicly humiliated by Olamide’s wife, who allegedly reminded her of her humble background from Ilorin. The accusations implied an unhealthy dynamic within the label and the challenges faced by artists who may feel marginalized or disrespected.
