Following the recent football match between Nigeria and South Africa, Nigerian singer Timaya has issued out a quick PSA to Nigerians who are in South Africa.
Taking to Twitter, he tweeted,
“If you are a Nigerian and in SA tonight, please just day your day,” hinting at the fact that Nigerians in South Africa should remain indoors to escape any form of harm coming their way.
Just a few hours ago, semi finalists foot wall teams from Nigeria and South Africa had played and Nigeria had ended up winning.
This had pushed them to the finals in the AFCON football match, which has been ongoing since January. There has been a lot of reaction to this, as netizens have taken to express their differing views on the match.
Recall that Last week, Nigeria had played the football match with Angola and had won Angola. However, Daniel Regha had come on social media to slam Peter Obi for travelling all the way from Nigeria to Ivory coast just to witness the live football match.
He revealed that Peter Obi could have focused his resources on other important things, for example, his stay in Anambra being in the current turmoil. He also revealed that the only people who are allowed to travel to the Arabian coast to watch a football tournament are influencers, not actual political figures.
