Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, Soma has revealed how some of his colleagues including Cross, are advising him against dating his co-star Angel Smith.
It is no longer news that Soma and Angel are a ship after meeting in the All Stars show and falling in love, despite both parties having partners outside the house.
In an interview with Glitch Africa Studios, Soma opened up on how his colleagues are pressuring him to cut ties with his lover.
He name-dropped Cross as one of such person, as he noted how they have also told him to take things easy with her.
“People always come to me telling me to leave Angel. Some housemates have even told me to take it easy with her, and I was like I don’t care.
Cross was one of such people”.
Angel who was with him in the interview questioned why their colleagues would be against them, as they don’t really know her except Mercy Eke.
The reality star, in a previous interview with Ebuka Uchendu, revealed he was no longer interested in the person he was dating before the show.
Ebuka had asked him if he would rather stay in the house with Angel or get evicted to meet his old girlfriend, in response, Soma indicated his preference for Angel, a move which elicited reactions.
Soma also gave the reason for leaving his former relationship with Angel in the interview, which he stated was based on his intimacy with Angel on the show, he was sure his former girlfriend would never accept him again.
Recall that prior to the current lovebirds entering the Big Brother Naija house, both Soma and Angel were involved in separate romantic relationships. However, fate had other plans for them as their connection inside the house grew stronger with each passing day. Their bond was so powerful that it eventually evolved into a romantic relationship.
The couple had even publicly served their former partners’ hot breakfast, as they revealed that they are leaving their past relationships behind to focus on their budding romance.
Soma had even surprised many with his startling revelation about his new love interest.
Proving how much he loved Angel, the former BBN contestant, who had the chance to win a whopping 120 million Naira, boldly declared that he would choose her over the prize money if he had to.
